High Lee Residential Home, just three miles from Hebdenbridge, is an excellent quality, family run establishment in a uniquely tranquil and beautiful part of Yorkshire; only eight miles from the large town of Halifax and easily accessed from the M62 motorway.
We accommodate a maximum of 12 guests so there is always that home from home family atmosphere to be enjoyed with the guarantee of individual attention from our friendly, qualified staff. We offer residential care mainly to older people, “trial” visits if they feel unsure about making the move, long and short stays and respite care . Most of our rooms are for single occupancy with one exception which is available for partners or friends sharing. All rooms are en-suite, comfortably furnished, include the modern conveniences expected in a hotel and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding, stunningly beautiful countryside. In creating this atmosphere, we encourage guests to bring items of their own furniture if they wish and, indeed, choose their own room decoration.
High Lee Residential Home is a non smoking establishment with attractive, secure grounds and an emphasis on home cooking in a family environment.
There is no rigid regime when it comes to meals and whilst we offer an excellent choice of finely prepared home cooked food, we also readily cater for special diets, even fads! There is a programme of activities in which our guests are gently encouraged to take part but, instead of or as well as this programme we cater for their own hobbies. Relatives and friends are encouraged to visit and for those travelling long distances we always endeavour to offer nearby accommodation.
At High Lee Residential Home we place great emphasis on the fact that our guests are individuals with characteristics unique to that one person. Just like the rest of us really! They do not like the same food or, indeed the same pastimes. Whilst it could prove to be difficult to accommodate the individual’s likes and dislikes in a larger gathering, with a maximum of 12 guests at High Lee Residential Home we undertake this responsibility with ease.
During the warmer months guests can sit at tables and chairs outside, enjoy the fabulous scenery first hand, amble round our attractive garden and benefit from the fresh air which resembles, well, “Summer Wine” actually!
High Lee Residential Home sounds ideal doesn’t it , but there is a limit to our descriptive powers and only a personal visit will confirm our absolute suitability to cater for the welfare of your loved one.
